She completed her schooling at Chettinad Vidyashram School in RA Puram, Chennai, India. Saindhavi married her schoolmate and composer G. V. Prakash Kumar on 27 June 2013 in Chennai, India. G.V.Prakash Kumar told in an interview in Vijay TV (Coffee with DD) that they were in extreme love from 10th Standard in Chettinad Vidyashram School.
