Story
Small budget flicks creating wonders at the box office has become the latest trend in Kollywood. And here comes Puthumugangal Thevai, which is about an aspiring director's plight to make his debut movie.
Anand ( Shivaji Dev), an aspiring assistant director is ready with the script of his debut flick, but nobody agrees to fund the project. He happens to meet an entrepenuer Mani (Rajesh Yadav) and he decides to produce it. But Anand's struggle continues, the right cast and so on... After many hiccups, Anand and Mani reworks on the scripts and decides to make a film about their own lives.
A film inside a film, but tthe director lets down the film with his poor narration and dragging screenplay.
